Our PADI Adventures in Diving program includes Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, Boat Diver and Underwater Naturalist. This will significantly improve your skills and increase your diving options. During the in-water training, you will undertake 2 boat dives (Boat Diver & Deep Diver at Magic Point with the sharks) a Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy and an Underwater Naturalist dive. The Scuba Dive Online Instructor Development Course ( PADI IDC )takes place over 4 days, 3 hours per day starting at 6:00pm. For this dive you must be confident in the water. This site is one of our favourites and is usually conducted as a drift dive with the incoming tide. It is a bit of a clif walk down, you need to be confident in the water. Step off the rocks into the big blue and let your self be taken along the wall, looking for weedy seadragons, rays and Pj’s. Its always good to get to the site early to get set up and then park your car at the exit point. The second dive will be held at The Steps. Additionally, weedy sea dragons can be spotted at the sand line. If the conditions are too rough for the site, we will relocate to another location. The boat will depart at the scheduled time from the Sans Souci Public Fishing Wharf off Riverside Drive. This location is easily accessible by public transport or private vehicle. This dive site consists of a wall that runs north-south. The reef top is about 17 metres and it drops to 26 metres in spots. There can be a wealth of marine life including leatherjackets, silver sweep, small seapike, yellowtail and other fish. Keep your eyes open for overhangs and some small swim-throughs and arches.
