Our PADI Adventures in Diving program includes Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Deep Diver, Boat Diver and Underwater Naturalist. This will significantly improve your skills and increase your diving options. During the in-water training, you will undertake 2 boat dives (Boat Diver & Deep Diver at Magic Point with the sharks) a Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy and an Underwater Naturalist dive. The course starts at 8:00am on the first day but we will finalise the second day depending on sea conditions at the time.

The Scuba Dive Online Instructor Development Course ( PADI IDC )takes place over 4 days, 3 hours per day starting at 6:00pm. Before the first session, candidates are required to sit a 2-hour theory assessment test to enable the Course Directors to determine candidates’ theoretical knowledge levels. Additionally, weedy sea dragons can be spotted at the sand line. If the conditions are too rough for the site, we will relocate to another location. For this dive you must be confident in the water. This site is one of our favourites and is usually conducted as a drift dive with the incoming tide. It is a bit of a clif walk down, you need to be confident in the water. Step off the rocks into the big blue and let your self be taken along the wall, looking for weedy seadragons, rays and Pj’s. Its always good to get to the site early to get set up and then park your car at the exit point. The second dive will be held at The Steps. Be at the store at more than 30 mins before to collect your gear and meet your dive masters before driving yourself to the site.

Note that this is not the shore dive site that we often visit. It is in the same area but this site is accessible from a boat. The reef that extends from the famous arch runs quite far South and is mainly flat with large boulders on the edge and the sand line. The site ranges from 20-35m and has lots of colourful sponges. Expect to see lots of fish life including Yellowtail, Silversweep, Blue Groupers, Leatherjackets and Port Jackson Sharks. If conditions make the planned site unsuitable, then another site will be selected for the dive.. The boat will Depart at the scheduled time from Sans souci public Fishing wharf off River side drive. This location is easy to get to by public transport or you can drive yourself.
