Why Become a Rescue Diver

Becoming a rescue diver offers several advantages for scuba divers. It enhances safety by providing rescue skills and techniques to prevent and manage diving accidents, allowing rescue divers to make diving safer for themselves and others. Furthermore, it enables them to assist others in distress, potentially saving lives. Rescue training is also a great way to advance existing diving skills, as it covers advanced topics such as rescue techniques, dive planning and emergency management. Before Booking the Dive Course

Before signing up for the course, all prospective divers must read the Medical Statement and ensure they meet the medical requirements. This is a crucial step to confirm you are fit to safely participate in scuba diving activities. If the questionnaire identifies the need for a professional medical review, you must visit a qualified doctor and receive clearance confirming you are "Fit to Dive."

The medical clearance is essential to rule out any health concerns that could impact your safety underwater. Once cleared, you can begin the PADI eLearning program, which provides the knowledge development portion of your diving certification course.
