The Junior Divemaster program encompasses:​

  • Assessments: Complete a dive site mapping project, search and recovery scenarios, and the Junior Divemaster final exam. ​

Prerequisites

To enrol in the PADI Junior Divemaster course, candidates must:

  • Be between 15 and 17 years old. 

  • Hold PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver certifications. 

  • Have logged at least 20 dives.​ 

  • Obtain medical clearance to dive.  

Next Steps After Certification

Upon reaching the age of 18, Junior Divemasters can undertake additional training to become full PADI Divemasters, further expanding their professional opportunities in the diving industry. ​
