Program Duration

The internship runs for approximately 5 weeks, depending on course schedules and student volume. This time allows you to get your 25 certifications, gain hands-on experience, and become fully immersed in life as a dive professional.

Candidate Requirements

To join the internship, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be certified as a diver for at least 5 months

  • Hold a current diving medical (within the last 12 months)

  • Own a complete set of personal scuba diving equipment (except tanks and weights)

  • Provide copies of all previous certifications

  • Have all required books and materials as listed by our Course Directors

Accommodation Options

Our dive centre is just 20 minutes from Sydney’s CBD. We can assist you in finding suitable accommodation, from budget backpackers to local Airbnb options. Let us know your preferences and we’ll help sort it out.


How to Apply

To secure your spot, a $500 non-refundable deposit is required. This deposit gives you immediate access to your IDC eLearning and locks in your preferred internship start date.

Cancellation Policy

Internship deposits are non-refundable, covering the cost of your eLearning materials and securing your spot in the program. Once enrolled, your position is guaranteed, and no other candidates will be able to take your place.
