Before Booking the Dive Course

Before signing up for the course, all prospective divers must read the Medical Statement and ensure they meet the medical requirements. This is a crucial step to confirm you are fit to safely participate in scuba diving activities. If the questionnaire identifies the need for a professional medical review, you must visit a qualified doctor and receive clearance confirming you are "Fit to Dive."

The medical clearance is essential to rule out any health concerns that could impact your safety underwater. Once cleared, you can begin the PADI eLearning program, which provides the knowledge development portion of your diving certification course.

The PADI eLearning program consists of eight to ten hours of online learning that you can complete at your own pace. After finishing the knowledge development portion, you’ll move on to the practical training section.

Special Conditions You Need to Know

To keep this course affordable while maintaining its high standards, a few important conditions apply:

• Language Skills: All training is conducted in English, so strong comprehension is essential.
• Swimming Ability: Participants must complete a 200m swim and a 10-minute float at the start of the course.
• Health Requirements: You'll need to complete a brief medical questionnaire ensuring you're fit to dive. Certain conditions like heart issues, asthma, epilepsy, or diabetes might require a doctor’s clearance before participating.
• Non-Refundable: This course is non-refundable, with transfers available for a $125 fee if at least 7 days' notice is provided. Transfers with less notice are not allowed.
• Punctuality & Study: Home study (~8–10 hours) must be completed before Day 1, and punctuality is mandatory. Missing any portion will require rescheduling with a $125 surcharge.

Important Notes for Your Safety and Convenience

• The minimum age is 15 years (or 12-15 for our Standard Open Water Course).
• You must wait at least 18 hours after your final dive before flying.
• Participants must have their own transport or can arrange transportation between the dive center and the site for $35.
• We recommend bringing your own mask, snorkel, and fins (available for purchase at a discount).
