PADI® Women’s Dive Day has grown into the most celebrated day of diving on the planet, transforming lives and opening the door to the underwater world. For over a decade, the dive community has come together to empower divers of all genders, ages, races, and backgrounds to confidently explore and protect our oceans.

Thousands of female divers around the globe marked the 10th Annual Women’s Dive Day in 2024 with unforgettable dive adventures, conservation efforts, and community events.

Join Abyss Scuba Diving for the 11th Annual PADI Women’s Dive Day!

We’re celebrating in true Abyss style—with an epic seal dive at Martin Island, followed by delicious cake and a glass of bubbly to toast the amazing women of diving!

Here’s what you can expect:

• A fun and adventurous single dive with playful Australian fur seals at Martin Island

• Between 20–80 seals are often spotted in and around the island

• Post-dive celebration with cakes and champagne

• A vibrant, welcoming community of divers

Note: The seals are wild animals, so while sightings are common, we can’t guarantee their presence or interaction.

Dive Details:

• Meeting Point: Abyss Dive Centre, Ramsgate – please arrive no later than 9:00am to collect your gear

• Boat Departure: 11:00am from Foreshore Road, Port Kembla

• Transport: Participants are responsible for their own transport to and from Port Kembla

• Rental Gear: You are responsible for the collection and return of any rental equipment
