3 reasons why Instructor Candidates should do a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer Program

If you are a trainee dive instructor, you might wonder whether a PADI Master Scuba Diver course is worth your time and effort. In this blog post, we will share three reasons why we think it's a great idea.

1. As a newly trained scuba instructor, you will look for your dream job. As with any industry, the more certificates and training you have, the more opportunities you have to advance your career or find jobs you might be looking for. In the PADI Master Scuba Diver program, you train to obtain five additional specialty instructor certifications to add to your current resume as a PADI instructor.

2. The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer program will prepare the new instructor to a higher level with regards to their skill sets and knowledge base in a range of diving areas. As a result, the new scuba instructor will be much better prepared and be a more rounded scuba instructor.

3. The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer program is conducted during your IDC before you go to the PADI Instructor Exam and will give you a series of opportunities to present classroom and open-water presentations, build confidence and develop for the Instructor Exam at the end. Typically, all candidates that come through that process and complete some form of additional specialty instructor training before the Instructor Exam have a greater chance of success when doing their Instructor Exam.

So, there you have it, three good reasons to do a PADI Master Scuba Diver course. We hope this has inspired you to sign up for one soon!
