8 Reasons Why You Should Do Your Padi Instructor Course
8 Reasons Why You Should Do Your PADI Instructor Course at Abyss Scuba Diving
Abyss Scuba Diving is Sydney's number one PADI dive shop. We have been running PADI Instructor Training Courses since 2001 and have helped many people realise their passion for teaching diving. Abyss Scuba Diving provides not only recreational scuba diver and dive instructor training but also local guided diving, dive travel, Sydney dive boat charters and equipment sales as well as servicing dive gear.
For many reasons, Abyss Scuba Diving is the perfect place to do your PADI Instructor Course. Our passionate and experienced team will support and guide you through the process every step of the way. We pride ourselves on providing the finest possible training, so you can be confident you will receive the finest quality possible when it comes to training through us. When considering where to do your PADI IDC, Abyss is the perfect place because:
- PADI Career Development Centre
Abyss Scuba Diving is one of only five PADI 5-Star Career Development Centre in Australia. The CDC classification is assigned to PADI Five Star Instructor Development Centres that dedicate their organization to the professional development of dive instructors. A PADI CDC course meets the highest standards for PADI professional training and career advancement programs to prepare candidates for and help them find employment in the scuba diving industry. - Three PADI Course Directors.
Abyss Scuba Diving is proud to employ 3 PADI Course Directors on staff, including a Platinum and a female Course Director. Although the majority of PADI 5-Star IDC have a single Course Director, we have discovered that our team-based approach to Instructor training is more effective because of the range of experience, teaching styles and personalities you will be exposed to, and learn from during your IDC. - Online Training Minimize the Time Required
Some PADI Course Directors take at least two weeks to prepare their candidates for your PADI Instructor exam. Many candidates find this amount of time away from work difficult. Abyss Scuba Diving in Sydney now offers an IDC that requires only a week away from work. We will guarantee you become a competent and confident PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor while decreasing the amount of time you need to dedicate to in-person training at our dive centre. - Your IDC in Sydney Prepares You to Travel the World Teaching
PADI Dive Centres are found in many locations around the globe and becoming a PADI Instructor can be a fantastic way to support your travel habit. However, if you have a desire to travel around the world and teach diving, this may be one factor in choosing where you will do your instructor training. An instructor with a strong background in temperate water diving environments may be more desirable to certain dive centres.
Training in a tropical location may sound ideal, but training in Sydney will give you the skills and experience in temperate water, where water motion and visibility will prepare you as a PADI dive instructor for wherever your Scuba career may take you. - Pass Guarantee
Abyss Scuba Diving gives you a free second instructor exam if your first instructor exam fails. In the very unlikely event you were to fail your PADI Instructor Exam; Abyss Scuba Diving will pay for the entire PADI fees for you to re-take another instructor exam. - We Help You Make a Difference
We help you make a genuine and sustainable difference and support a growing global army of volunteers cleansing ocean trash by including PADI Dive Against Debris Instructors Training within your IDC. - Job Placement
We help people find jobs through detailed guidance in preparing cover letters and resumes. We help students in our IDC to attain the job of their choice; while we cannot make any guarantees, we can promise that our partnership will lead to a job interview. - The PADI Instructor Exam is at the PADI head office in Sydney.
Due to our proximity to PADI Asia Pacific Head Office, this is where you will do your classroom examinations. Often the pool and dive site where you do your IDC will be the very same place where you will do your Instructors Exam, helping to minimize your stress.
