Abyss Scuba Diving Commits to Being 100% Aware.

PADI AWARE Foundation is a globally funded non-profit charity with offices in Australia, USA, and UK. They are committed to driving local action for global ocean conservation. They advance their cause through citizen science, public policy, and community grants. For more than three decades, PADI and the AWARE Foundation have built a totally unique voice for the protection of the underwater world. They have set ambitious ocean conservation targets through a shared Blueprint for Ocean Action that commits to actions that impact climate change, create marine protected areas, and protect vulnerable species.

Abyss Scuba Diving this week have partnered with Project AWARE, a global non-profit organization, to be one of their 100% AWARE Partners, who commit to protecting the underwater world that our wonderful sport of scuba diving is so reliant upon. Abyss Scuba Diving will make a regular donation to help preserve the underwater world that our scuba diving business relies upon.

In recognition of being 100% Aware, all student divers who complete a course with Abyss Scuba Diving will now receive a Project AWARE limited-edition card.

Project AWARE's mission is to mobilize the world's divers into a global force to protect the ocean one dive at a time. Supporting Project AWARE’s mission to protect the ocean is our passion. We are dedicated to the preservation of marine life and committed to providing our clients with the best diving experience possible.

Along with being 100% Aware Abyss has the PADI Green Star Award for their environmental awareness. The Green Star Award identifies and honors dive businesses that take proactive strides to protect the environment.
