Jamie began his journey at Abyss Scuba Diving in 2005, after immigrating from New Zealand, and has been employed with them ever since. He worked on a sabbatical in Fiji during this time and has travelled to some of the world's most unique and isolated destinations.

Travelling to Malaysia in 2015, Jamie trained as a PADI Course Director, and within 12 months, was awarded the coveted Platinum Course Director status. The rating of PADI Platinum Course Director is the highest award that PADI issues to its Course Directors, and there are approximately only 50 worldwide.

Jamie is responsible for teaching many of today’s successful dive centre owners, managers and Course Directors in Australia and abroad. He commits to excellence and a proven 100% success rate at the Instructor Development level.

Jamie has played a key part in building Abyss Scuba Diving into Australia’s most successful dive centre, one of the world's most successful dive centres.
